Jackson: "Let me out! Now!"
Stiles: "You know, I put those pants on you, all right, buddy? One leg at a time. Being all up-close-and-personal with your junk wasn't exactly a highlight of my day. So, don't think this is fun for me, either. You know, we're actually doing you a favor?"
Jackson: "This is doing me a favor?"
Stiles: "Yes! You're-you're killing people! To death! Yeah. And, until we can figure out how to stop you, you're gonna stay in here. I'm sorry. Now, you want the ham and cheese, or the turkey club?"

The relationship between Werewolf-Kanima Hybrid Jackson Whittemore and Human Stiles Stilinski

Jackson and Stiles were classmates for most of their lives, though they had very few interactions prior to Scott being bitten and turned into a Werewolf in the first episode of Season 1. This was most likely due to Stiles' status as an unpopular "benchwarmer" compared to Jackson, who was very popular and the star lacrosse player, not to mention Stiles' obvious long-time romantic interest in Jackson's then-girlfriend Lydia Martin.

The relationship between Jackson and Stiles was largely antagonistic from the very first episode, with taunts and comments thrown around between them constantly, which ultimately led to Stiles punching Jackson in the face in Season 1's Night School, though Stiles still reluctantly protected and/or saved Jackson's life on a few occasions. Though the two were at odds due to Jackson bullying Scott into getting him the bite as well, Stiles ultimately enlisted his assistance in backing up Scott, Allison, and Argent in their fight against the Alpha Werewolf Peter Hale at the Hale House ruins.

After finally getting the bite from Derek Hale after he stole Peter's powers, Jackson, instead of becoming a true Werewolf as expected, he became a mutated reptilian shapeshifter known as the Kanima, who can be controlled by others into doing their bidding. Despite their antagonistic relationship, Stiles still did all he could to help Scott and Allison to prevent him from killing anyone while also protecting him from the Hunters who had invaded the town, even going so far as to steal an armored police van in which to lock Jackson up, a move that caused Stiles' father Sheriff Stilinski to briefly be suspended from his job.

Afterward, Jackson's lawyer father filed a restraining order against Scott and Stiles, which they ultimately ignored in favor of protecting the school and town from the mysterious person controlling him. Throughout Season 2, while the Beacon Hills supernaturals and their human allies tried to discover the true identity of the Kanima, Stiles was inadvertently paralyzed by Jackson's Kanima Venom on a number of occasions, though only two of those times were because of direct exposure from the venom in Jackson's claws.

Jackson left for England at the end of Season 2, and the two had no interactions until the series finale, The Wolves of War. Stiles, now dating Lydia, showed jealousy when Jackson and Lydia hugged, and was shocked to learn that Jackson was now in a romantic relationship with Ethan Steiner, though, again, they helped each other and ended the series as allies. Their alliance continues on, as Jackson is helping the McCall Pack recruit orphaned supernaturals to help protect them and defend their community against Tamora Monroe's Hunter Army.

Throughout Teen Wolf[]

In Wolf Moon, Stiles joined his best friend Scott and their classmate Harley in staring at the new student, Allison Argent, who was already getting friendly with the popular lacrosse captain Jackson and his "Queen Bee" girlfriend Lydia.

While Scott, who already had developed a crush on Allison, just stared, Harley wondered aloud how the new girl had managed to fall in with Jackson and Lydia's clique after "all of five minutes" of being at the school, leading Stiles to speculate that it was because "Allison is hot," and adding that beautiful people, like Jackson and Lydia, herd together.

Stiles and the others then eavesdropped as Jackson invited Allison to the party that Lydia was throwing at her house on Friday to celebrate the lacrosse scrimmage before Lydia informed the new girl that she would be coming with her to watch lacrosse practice, where Jackson (as well as Stiles and Scott) would be performing for try-outs.

At practice, Stiles, as usual, was a "benchwarmer" due to his lack of athletic prowess, but both Jackson and Scott were trying out for first line, with Jackson being the returning team captain. Stiles and the others grimaced when Jackson took his first shot and hit Scott (whose senses were oversensitive due to his recent transformation into a Werewolf and who was distracted by the Coach's whistle blowing) right in the face.

However, Scott's superhuman agility and reflexes kicked in for the next play and allowed him to easily catch Jackson's next shot (and all of the shots that came afterward), causing Stiles to cheer happily from the bench on Scott's behalf, happy to see Jackson challenged for once. When Jackson put all of his focus and energy into his last shot and was still beaten by Scott, Stiles' cheering, along with Lydia's obvious attention towards Scott caused Jackson to become furious.

The next day at practice, Stiles' enthusiasm over Scott's performance outshining Jackson's started to fade when he began to suspect that Scott was really becoming a Werewolf, something Stiles had only joked about the day before. He then began researching heavily before trying his best to talk Scott out of going to the party at Lydia's, as it would be happening during the full moon and Scott's feelings for Allison could cause his bloodlust to increase his chances of transforming, but Scott, thinking Stiles was just messing with him and annoyed that he was trying to ruin the good things happening in his life, went to the party anyway.

Friday night, Stiles was at the party at Lydia's house, along with Jackson, Lydia, Scott, and Allison; however, Stiles and Jackson did not interact, as Stiles mainly stayed inside, while Jackson and Lydia made out in the backyard by the pool. Stiles then was forced to leave when Scott became sick due to his Werewolf transformation and left in a hurry, preventing them from interacting further.
