Synopsis Edit

  • According to Chris Argent, Banshees are not so much supernatural creatures as they are humans who can access the supernatural and allow it to work through them to achieve their supernatural powers and abilities. This was first implied to be the case in Season 4's Time of Death, when Lydia was able to handle and use Mountain Ash.

  • This episode features Crystal Reed, the actress who played Allison Argent until she was killed off in Season 3. She will be playing Allison's ancestor Marie-Jeanne Valet.
  • This episode will feature flashbacks to the Argent family in France in the 1700s, as well as flashbacks from the Seven Years' War in Canada, where Sebastien Valet and Marcel fought against the British. The specific years shown in this episode are the Seven Years' War in Canada in 1760, Gévaudan in 1764, and then again in France in 1767 after Marie-Jeanne finally caught up with Sebastien.
  • The title of this episode refers to the Argents' ancestor, Marie-Jeanne Valet, the woman who murdered The Beast of Gevaudan.
