More Bad Than Good is the fourteenth episode of Season 3 and the thirty-eighth episode of Teen Wolf.
Synopsis[]
Scott and his friends race to figure out how to catch the Werecoyote before it's hunted down, while Derek and Peter are broken out of captivity by an unlikely ally.
Plot[]
Scott and his friends attempt to track down the Werecoyote Malia Tate with the intention of changing her back to her human form before her father inadvertently kills her, believing her to be the coyote who killed his wife and daughters. Isaac accidentally steps on a coyote trap and gets his ankle caught in it, while Stiles saves Lydia, who made the same mistake as Isaac, from another trap. Allison uses a tranquilizer dart to sedate Malia's father before he can shoot her. Scott tracks down Malia and embraces his Alpha powers in order to transform Malia back into a human with an Alpha roar, which also gives Isaac the strength to break the trap on his leg. Sheriff Stilinski then reunites Malia with her father. just as Stiles discovers that he has regained the ability to read. Meanwhile, Peter and Derek are freed from their captors by an unlikely ally, Braeden, who reveals that she was hired to free them by Deucalion. At the Nemeton, someone releases a swarm of fireflies that morph into three mysterious figures.
