Harley is first seen talking to Scott and Stiles by their lockers as Allison, Lydia and Jackson discuss sports. She complains that Allison, the new girl on her first day, is already part of Lydia's clique.

Throughout Teen Wolf[]

In Wolf Moon, Harley met up with Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski at Scott's locker after home room. She immediately took note of the queen and king of Beacon Hills High School's popularity hierarchy, Lydia Martin and Jackson Whittemore, talking to the new student, Allison Argent, and asked how Allison was able to get into the popular circle after being there for "five minutes." Scott, distracted by the sight of Allison, who he seemed to be developing a crush on, paid no attention to her question, so Stiles replied that it was because "beautiful people herd together."

In Pack Mentality, Harley was in Adrian Harris's chemistry class at Beacon Hills High School when she suddenly noticed activity happening at the crime scene outside of the school through the window (as one of the school buses was the site of a brutal mauling the night before that Scott McCall was afraid he committed while in a trance-like state the night before, caused by his newly gained lycanthropy).

She announced to the class that the investigators seemed to have found something, and all of the students immediately began to ignore their teacher in favor of rushing over to the window so they can gawk at the activity outside. They watched as two paramedics wheeled a middle-aged man toward the nearby ambulance in a gurney. The students seemingly believed the man was dead until he suddenly bolted upright into a seated position and began flailing his arms and screaming in a panic, startling all of the bystanders, including Harley.

At lunch, Harley chose to eat lunch with Scott and his best friend Stiles Stilinski at their table, sitting down next to the latter as they were quickly joined by Allison Argent, Lydia Martin, Jackson Whittemore, Danny Mahealani, and another unknown student. Though the table's occupants immediately began discussing the attack, who the victim possibly was, and who could have committed it, Harley said nothing, choosing instead to listen to the others speculate.

In Omega, Harley was at her locker, talking to another female student at the high school, when they suddenly saw Allison Argent going to her own locker across the hall to get her clothes so she could prepare for her aunt Kate's funeral that afternoon.

They immediately began gossiping about Allison, with Harley correcting her friend by saying that Kate was Allison's aunt, not her sister, and that she was "the one who murdered all those people." When the friend referred to Kate as the "crazy bitch who killed all those people," Harley agreed with her and added that Kate was the one behind both the Hale House Fire and the recent animal attacks, though the latter was not actually true. The female student was scandalized by this news and informed Harley that she sat next to Allison in English class, which led Harley to cruelly retort, "Find a new seat," causing Allison to break down into tears and flee to a nearby classroom for privacy.
