Route 115 is a state route that runs through Beacon Hills, California, and plays a significant part in the first half of Season 5 of Teen Wolf. It is apparently the only route one can take to get to Beacon Hills from the nearest airport.
Notable Events[]
- Noshiko, Ken, and Kira Yukimura get stuck in completely halted traffic on the highway on their way home from their summer-long vacation in New York. Kira quickly became irritated due to her anticipation of joining the senior members of the McCall Pack for the Senior Scribe event at Beacon Hills High School that night. ("Creatures of the Night")
- Noticing Kira's frustration, Noshiko told Kira the story of the Ghost Riders of the Wild Hunt, not knowing that they were either already in Beacon Hills or were on their way there.
- Kira got out of the car to try to get cell phone signal, as the thunderstorm had knocked out electricity to some parts of the town; in the process, she inadvertently became the first member of the pack to meet Theo Raeken, who was also coming into Beacon Hills with the man and woman he would later claim were his parents. ("Parasomnia")
- Afraid Kira wouldn't make it to the school in time for Senior Scribe, her then-boyfriend Scott McCall came to pick her up on his motorbike and take her to meet the others, as his bike was able to easily navigate the congested road.
- After killing an unnamed female Chimera and leaving the corpse pinned to the dining room table in the McCall House with her katana while in a trance caused by the imbalance of her human and fox spirits, Kira was unconsciously drawn to Route 115, likely due to her brain trying to get her to remember what happened to her so that she could figure out what was currently wrong with her. ("Ouroboros")
- Kira was then found by [[Valerie Clark|Deputy Clark, who offered to drive her home. As soon as Kira got in the backseat, Clark quickly handcuffed her to the back of the front seat and put her under arrest for the homicide of the Chimera found at the McCall House.
- Kira would later learn, after triggering a repressed memory, that, on the night of Senior Scribe (see above), the Dread Doctors had used their powers to keep her parents from noticing that they were pulling Kira (who was also forced to comply with their powers) out of the back seat and onto the hood of the car while she was waiting on Scott to pick her up. They pinned her down to the car's hood and used a medical device to insert a type of lightning rod into her eyeball, summoning a lightning bolt to overpower her body with electricity which then set her human side and Kitsune side out of balance.
